Our Clients are at Risk Amid Federal Cuts to Nutrition Assistance

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO OUR GENEROUS AND CARING COMMUNITY! THANK YOU! Together we will continue to give and continue to feed our neighbors in need!

The story is in the headline. Slashed funding to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP and the Emergency Food Assistance Program are putting our community members, who rely on these programs to feed themselves and their families, at risk. MRC provides food for our neighbors in need. Our food share markets provide healthy, fresh, and local food weekly, with the added convenience that our mobile food share creates for those who may have mobility or transportation challenges. But with these impending cuts, we are facing deficits that will impact our ability to continue with the nutritional and robust food that keeps our clients free from food insecurity and enhances their ability to continue to not just survive but to thrive.

Please help us to help those in need! With your generosity, we will be able to maintain and hopefully grow our onsite food share market and mobile food share, keeping our community healthy and focused on pursing their life goals. And with the holidays around the corner, the need is even greater. With your financial support through a direct gift or by donating gift cards valued at $25 or more from Safeway, King Soopers, Target or Walmart you will bring joy to many in our community.
